DESCRIPTION
A noted Historic San Francisco landmark, our glorious 19th century brick building offers beautiful and spacious accommodations for corporate meetings, lectures, film premiers, book signings and private gatherings. Discounts available for weekly and monthly arrangements. Known as the Yeon Building, 432 Jackson Street dates from 1865 and was the site of the first French Consulate in San Francisco. With its Romanesque arches on the ground level and recessed arches on the second, 432 Jackson Street retains it Romanic facade. Balance Street, intersecting Jackson Street, was named for the Gold Rush ship Balance, which, like many ships in the early 19th century found herself stranded at what was the original San Francisco wharf, as the city began to expand. With its rich history and beautiful architecture, our gallery space is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on your guests!
