The lobby wraps around the building leading to a rotunda. The walls of the open entryway describe the unique design of the space. This area is great for receptions, happy hours, dancing and short programs in the rotunda. It accommodates up to 200 guests.HQO was built around an existing pump station, creating its unique shape. There are several cut-outs into the pump station throughout the lobby to take advantage of this connection. Rotunda: The rotunda offers great views of the river and is the perfect gathering spot for short programs or dancing.

Special Restrictions

The rental rate includes the venue with no furniture, the amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, wellness room), cleaning and security, limited parking, and an on-site venue manager for the duration of the event. We have preferred vendors that you're required to use for catering and furniture rentals, otherwise, there’s a 10% service charge added to your rental fee. Monday - Thursday during business hours are best for tours. We have extremely limited parking on-site. We encourage Metro, we're located 3 blocks from the Navy Yard Station and ride-share. There are several hotels within a short walk that could be convenient for out of town guests. To reserve the facilities Client shall pay Blue Drop a facility use deposit of 20 % $___________ (“Facility Use Deposit”) and shall place a credit card on hold for damages upon the execution of the Agreement. If the applicable Facility Use Deposit or credit card to be used for Damages is not received within seven (7) days from the date this Agreement was executed, this Agreement shall terminate and be of no further force or effect. The remaining balance of $_________ is due fourteen (14) days prior to the event. The credit card on hold for damages will be used for any damage to the facility, including but not limited to damage to facility furniture, facility fixtures, or any other damage to facility personal or real property either inside or outside the facility.
