Our facility is available to rent for small to medium-sized private events. With 2800 sq. ft. available between two floors, our space is ideal for gatherings accommodating 40-80 guests. (Maximum capacity is 120; this number may decrease depending on your unique event and utilization of space.) The street-level and basement galleries feature open space with white walls, wood floors, exposed brick and industrial accents. Our space is suitable for meetings, showers, annual holiday parties, retirement parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding cocktail hour, etc. This venue is not recommended for weddings, for events which require theater-style seating, or for events which require decorations and/or transformations to the space. Catering and Equipment: The client is responsible for all food/beverage arrangements and for acquiring necessary permits if alcohol is to be served. If special equipment and/or furnishings are needed, the client is also responsible for renting and insuring these items. Recommendations based on capacity: For events hosting between 80-120 guests, catering accommodations are best for passed hors d'oeuvres, a set bar, and high top tables (up to six per level). Events hosting under 80 guests will have more flexibility in catering options and utilization of space (i.e. tables and chairs, casual seating, buffet tables, placement of the bar).

Special Restrictions

Deposit/Rental Fees: Fifty (50) percent of the total usage fee ($2000 for first 5 hours, additional hours billed at $300 per hour), plus a $500 refundable damage deposit must be received in order to reserve your date(s) and time(s). The remaining balance is due five (5) days prior to the event. No terms are implied or granted, and no work will be allowed to commence until full payment is received. Insurance: Liability Insurance is required and due no later than ten (10) days prior to the event. If alcohol is to be served, make sure that the policy includes liquor liability coverage to protect against alcohol-related accidents, as the renter is ultimately liable for the safety of their guests. Established Catering Services may use their license and insurance to cover this. Any caterers and/or outside vendors, companies, and/or institutions must provide a copy of their Certificate of Insurance and Catering License to Gallery IMA at least one (1) month prior to the event. Note: Gallery IMA is not an event planner and recommends that you hire a professional planner should your event require one. We are not responsible for arrangements, entertainment, equipment, billing or insurances related to your event. We do require regular briefing during the arrangement process. All plans are subject to approval, as we reserve the right to refuse arrangements which may interfere with our own safety or in any way damage the art.
